From the dark moors and brooding hills that roll their way to the dramatic cliffs of the coast, Yorkshire has been painted and written about for centuries. There’s a sheer breadth of history in abbeys, castles, historic houses, medieval cities, industrial centres and, of course, urban playgrounds – the trademark subjects of Angela’s urban work.

The Shambles in York is a street with a long and interesting past. It features great shops, cafes, restaurants and is fantastic place to stroll on a day in York or visit to take in some shopping, history and culture. The Shambles is also this year’s winner of Google’s Most Picturesque Street in Britain.
